From the initial planning stages of African Chic Designs, assisting economic development in the African communities from which we source has been foremost in our strategy.  We will deliberately select only those suppliers who are creating local jobs at fair wages, offering skills development and providing healthy working conditions.  We will be conscientious in creating partnerships based on mutual profitability and sustainable growth.  

We guarantee that the skins used in our products will only be harvested from herds which have been part of the Sustainable Wildlife culling programs and that no harmful chemicals will be used in the tanning and dyeing process. 

We believe that offering you the best of Africa’s designs and workmanship creates solutions for struggling communities by opening up avenues of trade and a better life for their families.
